The Jackson Economic Development Corporation (JEDC) has completed several components that will lead to a new retail/commercial development area in Jackson. The area, currently known as Development Park 4 (DP4) and Jackson Crossing, has taken considerable steps forward following agreements with the developer and with the City of Jackson. Keep in mind they are looking for instructors for classes! The deadline for catalog information is February 25 for April-July classes.

AGCO celebrated the grand opening of Intivity Center
and the 75,000-square-foot expansion of its Jackson, Minn., manufacturing center in June 2012! Intivity Center offers an extensive collection of historical artifacts — many never before seen by the public. In addition, it includes a glimpse of the future of agricultural equipment through interactive displays demonstrating equipment technology in development at AGCO. Open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Intivity Center
is expected to attract an estimated 10,000 visitors per year.
The City of Jackson Economic Development Authority has built a twin home in partnership with Bargen Construction. There are two units available, 256 North Pond Drive (north unit) and 258 North Pond Drive (south unit). The north unit is finished and is sale ready for move-in. The south unit is unfinished and the buyer can finish it the way they'd like it (paint, cabinets, appliances, countertops, flooring, fixtures, etc.).
